Tim Shields, President

Tim has over 40 years of experience in business software development.  His skills include analysis, design, programming and system implementation. He holds a degree in Computer Science and Business from Southern Adventist University. Tim has provided technical consulting services for small and large companies. His communication and interpersonal skills provide a bridge between technical and non-technical personnel.

Our History

CompuScapes was founded in 1989 by Tim Shields.  Tim recognized a need in the landscape industry for a quality, cost-effective business management software program. From the original concept that most landscape contractors needed more than a general accounting package, an industry-specific ERP application was developed that included estimating, work orders, invoicing, accounts receivable, job-costing, routing and scheduling, employee time accounting, accounts payable, general ledger and financial statements, inventory control and purchase orders, and an interior plant care module.

In 2025, our focus shifted from software development to consulting services.  Building on over 40 years experience of providing solid technology solutions for small to medium sized businesses, we now offer innovative technology advice to help your business grow and remain competitive in an ever-changing landscape.
